GOAL

The goal of this competition is to promote schools and to develop students’ skills and knowledge for web page design.


RULES
  • Only students from secondary schools that are members of MASSUM, and have paid the yearly membership fee can participate in this competition.
  • Each school can nominate one team of up to 4 students to participate in this competition
  • Each team participating in this competition will design a web page that will present not only school information, vocations and profiles, but it will also show and promote all school activities. For ex. projects, school companies, career centers etc.
  • Schools can take part in this competition with a web page designed by the local youth organization of MASSUM, but they must use Office Live Small Business Website as a Microsoft free tool, which offers ready-made tolls and resources for web design.   • Each school must send the web address of the page to the mentor’s e-mail. The school will only have to provide space for the page (if it has not already provided.)


ORGANIZATION

MASSUM organizes this competition together with Microsoft Partners in Learning program and USAID PEP project. Web pages will be assessed by the judges, prior to the Educational Rendezvous 2009, and the results will be announced at a special ceremony during the Educational Rendezvous 2009.


ASSESSMENT

The assessment of the teams will be carried out according to previously established criteria, given in addition. The winner will have the opportunity to promote the commercial on the stand of Microsoft Partners in Learning.


PRIZES

The prizes will be awarded at a special ceremony. The prizes will be provided by the MASSUM sponsors.

All participants will receive Microsoft Partners in Learning certificates.
